It's Flower time.















I'm a HUGE lover of fresh flowers on cakes ! Actually I wont lie I just love flowers full stop. It was the day before my sisters birthday and to be honest, wasn't planing on making her a cake, nothing had been said and I was more concerned with costing an entire deserts menu for work 
{ oh so extremely fun :( }
But when I walked past our local florist and saw these flowers I swooned and then decided on the spot she would be having a cake - Even if it was not your traditional birthday cake. The top tier of this cake is Styrofoam, I'm always extremely cautious about sticking fresh flowers into cake, given all the chemicals flowers are showered with whilst they're grown. But they are my biggest soft spot - along with stencilling which this cake had both of! 
It was slightly out of place at La Porchetta but tasted great none the less :)
